Scribbles Day Nursery
Gorleston

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding ALL areas' nursery in the desirable
Gorleston-on-Sea Area
At our Ofsted 'Outstanding' rated nursery in Gorleston-on-Sea, we strive to provide the very best care for children from 3 months to 3 years old. It is important to us that we implement your home routine into your child's nursery experience and we love to follow a natural, calm and minimal approach, ensuring your child's experience is unique, educational, and specialised in our care, as no child is the same.
We aim to encourage and support in any way we can and believe it to be vital to provide a strong practitioner - parent relationship to ensure you and your child feel valued as part of our Scribbles family.

The Nursery Pet
Say hello to our nursery bunny Biscuit!
Biscuit is a large, friendly, fluffy and cuddly bunny who lives at our Gorleston High Street branch - he likes to come into the room and have lots of cuddles with the children and explore all of the resources. Biscuit allows us to teach children how to look and care after animals in a safe and kind way, using our kind hands and exploring what bunnies like to do, eat and see. The children love to spend time with Biscuit and helping feed him with the staff.

Visiting The Area
As we are so close to the local amenities, we try to take out our children for visits and trips to the local area - including the local park, the library, shops and sometimes even a hot chocolate! This allows the children to use their senses to take in the world around them, while encouraging their development. For our younger children, we use our 'baby buggy' to transport them safely throughout the area!

The Garden
We offer a 2 part garden with both sides set up to encourage development of children aged up to 3.
We aim to aid in learning new skills, movements and more with our array of toys, learning activities and resources. Our garden is a safe place for children to play, explore and thrive.

Bouncing Babies
This is 'Bouncing Babies', this room is used as a safe, dry and nurturing place for the babies to practice their fine and gross motor skills at any time of day, and year. This can be seen as an alternative to the garden, and an extension of our rooms - enabling the children to have a dedicated space to play, grow and thrive.

The Sensory Room
Gorleston High Street boasts a dedicated sensory room, designed to encourage learning, growth and language skills - using sensory equipment the children can explore outside of their regular environments to enrich their learning!
